Art Deco is one of the most distinct design styles of the last 100 years. Purely decorative, the style was elegant, functional and ultra modern.
The Doxa Deco captures the spirit of this design movement with rectangular stainelss steel case reminiscent of the clean, pure lines that epitomize the period.

London born fashion guru, Alexander McQueen is famous for his daring and sometimes shocking designs. This season he revamps the classic black pump, by adding a dramatic squared silver toe. The black crocodile looks fierce paired with the shiny silver, these are some pretty amazing shoes! And as if the 4.5 inch heel isn't fabulous enough, there's also a hidden 1 inch platform!

Money money money – It’s a rich man’s world – sang Abba. And it just goes to show how much money people have when the go around buying houses that cost millions! Like this innovative eco friendly home in Cotswold nature reserve that broke the world record for a country house when it was sold for a whopping £7.2 million ($14.3 million USD). I have to say though, there is really nothing “country” about this house apart from the fact that it is in the country. The 'thoroughly modern manor house', modelled on a bee orchid found on the reserve, was sold off-plan last week to an anonymous buyer. The mystery buyer who is believed to be in the entertainment industry (who else will have that kind of money apart from the mafia) will get a lakeside home complete with a glass-sided badger set in the garden.

We recently featured the Dolce & Gabbana patchwork bag over at The Bag Lady, and while Keris found the multi-coloured snakeskin gorgeous but kinda "creepy", I am quite delighted to find these matching patchwork sandals not creepy at all! The ayers snakeskin in candy colours is a feast for the eyes - the simple ankle strap design with two straps over the toes and the basic stacked heel really sets the material off nicely.

For a dressy clutch without an absurd price, the Prada Raso Silver Clutch is a definite contender. While browsing Saks last week I saw this clutch in person and both Vlad and I absolutely loved it. The pleated silver satin is the perfect swoon-worthy gray color. The dimensions were perfect to have this be hand held, measuring 11″W X 6″H X 1″D. Yet for the life of me I could not figure out how to open this clutch. I pressed, pulled, shook, shimmied, and snapped, but nothing.

When suede and exotic skins just aren’t the right match for that glamorous Spring ensemble, reach for the classics with patent leather instead.
The Christian Louboutin Ankle-Wrap Pump is an opportunity for peep-toe fun, a buckled halter ankle style with a gleaming patent leather finish.

So you saw the dark blue Valextra Crocodile that Kelly talked me out of because she said it was too much to spend our hard earned Bag Snob money on. Well, I walked in to the Bottega Veneta boutique right after only to be tempted by this beauty (I really should just stay home as my husband often suggests, but since I buy bags with money I earn from Bag Snob, he really has no say does he?). I was hypnotized not only by the unique gray/taupe color but the gorgeous Anaconda skin.

The other day we reported on the world records set at Antiqorum's recent $8.5 million Rolex auction, where the top-priced timepiece fetched $248,000. At Sotheby's Important Watches auction on April 23, however, that record was shattered by the sale of an ultra-rare 1971 "Albino" Rolex Daytona that formerly belonged to rock & roll icon Eric Clapton.
