We all love the idea of supporting a company that benefits charity, but often, those companies are fairly high end, and not all of us can afford their products. Fortunately, this holiday season, that's not the case -- Payless is donating a million dollars in shoes to needy kids. The company is accepting applications through November 21 from families who are in need of children's shoes, but only the first 5,000 applications will be accepted, so if you know someone who might qualify, get them to apply right away!

Finding a formal shoe with a mid heel can be nigh on impossible, so these Stuart Weitzman Class Act courts should put a smile on some previously irked faces. Perfectly shaped for elegance, they've got an obviously fashion twist with the use of a soft metallic shade. The subtle diamanté and bow details are a great, underplayed touch that's perfect for brides. Get them online from Kurt Geiger for £215.

Sure we've been bashing on Prada lately but we have a soft spot for Miuccia and always know she will bounce back (in college we swore to have everything Prada even if we had to lie, cheat or steal). Which is why no one is happier than I to see Prada sparkle and shine for resort. Gone are the strange dumpling looking ruffles, in its place are shimmering and sexy clutches and totes. This gorgeous beaded clutch with green and black paillettes is just the bag for your holiday party needs.

The ankle boot is a big trend this fall and Azzaro's version is sure to make you feel like a princess. These Enchantment boots look fairly classic in black suede from the front, until you notice the subtle crystal trim lining the almond-shaped toes, which leads your eyes around back to the 4 1/2" heels covered thick with luxe shimmering crystals!

Several movie stars, athletes and television personalities have donated their shoes in the past to raise funds for good causes and they have always been a success. This time 19 pairs of shoes will be auctioned on eBay for Cash for kids, Cancer Research Foundation, No More Landmines and Agnus College Charitable Trust. Agnus College staff collected all of the shoes, and last year they created a three-mile line of pairs of shoes, which was supposedly the longest they have ever recorded.

Still haven't found the right pair of shoes with the right embellishments. How about searching in a whole new way. First focus on finding the right pair of plain shoes with your ideal toe and heel then accessorise with some of the new shoe jewellery at Pretty Pink Toes. Pick from pearls, coloured jewels and crystals and snap on to your shoes. Prices start around £14 per pair.

If the economic crisis has you cutting back on your fashion budget, take notice: spending on a pair of shoes may actually be a wiser investment than, well, investing. Here's the logic, according to The Business Sheet: gently-worn designer shoes can command up to 80 percent of their original retail price at a used clothing store or website. The author points out that a used pair of Jimmy Choos--original price $785--are now on sale at Portero.com for $485.

We love Christina Hendricks, in all of her sexy babiliciousness and glory. Watching her strut across the offices of Sterling Cooper makes us want to rush out for some hardcore vintage shopping and a box of red hair dye.

Simple, rich cream is a great shade for brides, whether in your dress or in matching accessories. These gorgeous cream slingback from Faith have won me over because of their almost Irish Cream shade. With a simple peep toe shape, they're not overcomplicated, but are given some pizazz by the corsage bow detail on the vamp. Suitable for any length of dress, they'll work for any bride at any time of year too.

These are so cute we want to lick them! Tower above the crowd in these sweet heels by Charles David. We love that they added the scalloped trim and bow detail to an otherwise classic pump - that and the color make these a quirky choice for work or for a date. Best of all? the button is embossed with a dragonfly - How cute is that?

Command attention and be boldly assertive with this Salvatore Ferragamo Nigel Boots. Made in Italy, the almost dainty buckle detail on the ankle is a nice contrast to it’s assertive vibe. $750 from Neiman Marcus. Whewww!
