With Daniel Craig’s suave and cool winning attitude at the poker table in Casino Royale, many of us have been inspired to get our poker skills also polished. So bring home the Heads-Up Challenge home edition that enables two players to compete against each other in a game of Texas Hold’em poker for entertainment purposes. Although it was originally designed to find a place in bars.

Fine hotels don't have to sacrifice comfort for conscience. At Proximity Hotel in Greensboro, North Carolina they have been taking the steps to reach their LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification with solar panels and waterless urinals, along with a rooftop garden, plenty of natural light through large windows and the restoration of a nearby stream. But along with those earth-friendly changes the Proximity Hotel is beautifully designed with a fantastic restaurant, spacious rooms and stylish lounges. Rooms run about $200 per night and special packages include tickets to Art Beat or Appalachian Echoes.

It seems like the price of movie tickets is getting ever more expensive, but would you be willing to pay even more if it meant luxury amenities like plush reserved seating with waiter service and upscale food and drink options? I would! At least sometimes anyway. It would totally make going to a movie feel more like going to a "show."
Village Roadshow Gold Class Cinemas is opening a luxury movie theater later this year in Chicago that will offer just those amenities, along with others like seating limited to 40 people and special parking privileges, for ticket prices of just $35 each.
That's pretty steep for a movie, but they're not expecting that to deter the luxury crowd -- plans are already in the works for 20+ more Gold Class Cinemas around the country by 2010.

I had kind of forgotten about the whole cloning thing since it hasn't beat Britney out of the news in quite some time but when I came across this woman's payment of $50,000 to recreate her beloved pit bull Booger I just had to check it out. Apparently, this practice is available in Korea and typically costs $150,000 but since the owner was willing to allow the event to be publicized RNL Bio is giving her a discount. Their hope is to bring back about 500 pets each year as the business grows. Sounds like quite the profitable gig!

I've heard of signature spa experiences or hiring your own chef to cook at your vacation home but a luxury bath menu? Imagine soaking in a decadent bath at the St. Regis hotel while enjoying La Maison du Chocolate truffles, Krug Grand Cuvee champagne, perhaps some Caspian Osetra caviar and one of the most relaxing moments money can buy (for about $1,650). Choose from four signature baths while in residence at these grand hotels -- and don't worry about the hour, it is available around the clock.
