Forget the "It" bag, individuality is key right now and no brand has shown their uniqueness as eloquently as Marni. Even a classic chain bag feels fresh and modern in Consuela Castiglioni's hands. Marni is a line that literally has something for everyone-- I know a 15 year old and a 53 year old who both covet its fetching line of accessories and clothes.

YSL bags are able to please my every want a need. Just when I needed a pick-me-up, a beautiful glimmer caught my eye in Saks. I was wandering the store aimlessly, looking for a white summery dress (I did this after Labor Day, GASP!). The dress hunt left me empty handed, but when I turned the corner I found the most stunning YSL handbag.

Isn’t it so wonderful when one of the most highly sought after celebrities manages to totally blend in and look just like one of us? Ordinarily, a look so casual would not garner so much attention. But when the look is on Miss Miley Cyrus, in which she looks so natural and cute - it is totally deserving of our CelebLOOK of the Day award.

Final comparison for the day, the ever-famous Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Mini versus a new designer in our spectrum, the Malababa Superglue Bag. First thing I must compare is the names. Both are quirky and have that special punch. The Morning After has such a strong connotation, which I love! But Superglue is a funky one, as is Malababa of course.

Can you believe it was 3 years ago that Tina and I started Bag Snob? We could have never even dreamed we would be where we are now - we love bags and just wanted to share our love and opinions. But of course, we would be nowhere without our fabulous readers who make what we do so much fun, so to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary and thank our lovely fans.

Alessandro Dell’Acqua was strongly influenced by the glamazons of Italian cinema, and it’s easy to envision this classic, wonderfully slouchy leather satchel draped over an elegant shoulder at Rome’s Termini Station. Features include a double-zipper top with bidirectional zippers and double handles with a 7 1/2″ drop, a zippered inner pocket with signature hardware.

My first impression was 'geez, who wouldn't look tacky carrying that?' But the more I look at the more I think it's really sort of charming. In an off-beat, ultra-feminine- with-a-hint-of-biker-chick sort of way. The Bow Bag Clutch from Marc by Marc Jacobs features silver metallic leather with a double overlay of netting.

To wear white or to not wear white (after Labor Day), that is the question. I think we all remember growing up and hearing our mothers tell us that white should not be worn after Labor Day. With Labor Day weekend upon us, I figured, why not pose the question yet again.

We are announcing the winner of our first The Sak Silverlake Satchel in black patent leather today. And just in time for that, we have another fabulous giveaway to run! I loved the black patent leather version of this bag, but it is in fact the cream version that has my heart. And now it can find its way into your heart, as The Sak has generously sponsored another giveaway!

Heehaw! Or rather Eeee-Ewww! OK, I get it everyone is doing fringy bags, not sure why but I understand the need to hop on the bandwagon and get one on the shelves, but when you are copying the trend, why not one-up everyone by doing something better?

Some designers find a handbag that they have made a hit and continuously reinvent it with new materials, colors, and patterns. It doesn’t always work, but it most definitely works for some brands. Take the Mulberry Bayswater for example. We have seen it in leather, pink ombre, purple ostrich, and even luscious green alligator.

It is back! Remember the infamous Gucci Baby Carrier that I covered in 2005? And if you do not remember, it is most likely because you had no idea this site existed, and that makes perfect sense since our traffic was minuscule compared to what it is now. For some reason this Designer Baby Carrier caused quite the ruckus!

Don’t even ask, because I have absolutely ZERO idea what is going on with this bag. Is it a joke? It is for real? Is it for the kid at school that likes hunting? Is it actually intended for a grown-up? I have no idea and for the life of me I can not see why Stella McCartney paired with LeSportsac to create this thing.
