It's not on too many products that you find "authentic small dents and scratches" listed as a selling point and a good thing, but the case of these Vintage Airline Food Carts is one of the few exceptions. Available in several fun exterior finishes, the interiors all feature a retractable serving tray and 14 racks to hold drawers and shelves (which you can buy separately).

Going out for sushi always runs slightly on the expensive side, but Koi restaurant in New York is taking it to the extreme with their latest menu addition, the High Roller sushi roll that sells for $1000.
So what does a thousand dollars look like in the form of sushi? Well, it starts with marinated and poached fois gras that is covered with succulent Langoustine (lobster). Then the roll is brushed with saffron/vanilla bean butter and encrusted with caviar. Finally, when the roll is served the Chef comes tableside to shave white Alba truffles and drizzle them with 100 year balsamic.

Want to indulge in some luxury coffee, in fact the world's most expensive cup of coffee then try Caffe Raro at a London department store. Created by internationally-renowned barista David Cooper and is a blend of Jamaican Blue Mountain and the exclusive Kopi Luwak bean.
The reason for this exclusive gourmet coffee to be so expensive £50 per cup, is its content Kopi Luwak, which is made from beans eaten, partly digested, and then expelled by the Indonesian civet cat. The cats, which live in the foliage of plantations across south-east Asia, are said to pick the best and ripest coffee berries.

Let me first say, I try to not eat any food that requires a plate. If I can’t hold it, wrap it up, not served in a bowl or stuck on a stick, it’s too much work and I move on. Plus, I hate cleaning dishes, but I hear that some sophisticates still use them and as plates go, designers have pretty much stuck with new ways of creating a simple flat surface to eat your fancy food on. Until now, that mostly meant round designs vs. square designs vs. slightly less rounded designs and slightly more rectangular designs and the occasionally the triangle plate design for weirdos. Well finally someone added some function to a plate we can all use. No more pushing that last bit of food onto your fork with a knife or piece of bread. No more wondering where on the plate is socially acceptable to plant your thumb when serving. Designer Angela Schwab has taken the anxiety and guess work out of food presentation by adding a flipped up edge to a traditional round plate design and called it the “Benta” Plate….clever girl.

The Bespoke Chocolates service from Sir Hans Sloane is about so much more than just customizing a box of chocolates by ordering how many you want each of different available flavors -- they actually mix and make personalized chocolates just for you. As in no two patrons have the same formula.
The process starts with a series of interviews, followed by a series of tastings, and finally ending in the delivery of 60 chocolates made by master chocolatier Bill McCarrick in a handmade rosewood-and-maple inlaid box. Also included is a copy of the chocolate tasting consultations and a backup box of an additional 60 chocolates.

Like frogs sitting on lily pads, so goes the experience when visiting the “Blue Frog Lounge” in Mumbai, India. Architectural firm Serie, have created an entertainment space that is both attractive and stand-offish at the same time, mirroring its patrons casual chic attitudes. For unobstructed people and performer watching, staggered heights and angled booths atop a glowing blue lake of light, give the impression of floating in a warm lake under the spring moonlight, waiting for the mating ritual to begin. Notable features include dimpled walls for acoustic enhancement and several recording studios, just in case you’re not convinced they are serious about music. A combination music venue / restaurant / lounge, this converted warehouse space shoots for cool credentials like Johnny Depp avoiding the paparazzi at the Oscars.

Red wine and chocolates, you can't get a much more perfect pairing for romance than that. The inspiration for the NOKA-RIEDEL Experience came from 10th generation glass maker George Riedel and his exquisite glassware, and it includes one of two combinations of chocolate and glasses. There's the "2-piece Vintages with 2 Cabernet Glasses" or the "4-piece Truffles with 2 Champagne Glasses."
Apparently when George Riedel visited the NOKA Chocolates boutique in Dallas for a tasting he said that combining the chocolates with champagne in a RIEDEL varietal-specific glass resulted in an experience that was "beyond words."
