As a contact lens user myself, I have always steered clear of the colored lenses option, as I believe in flaunting the natural blackish-brown tint of my eyes. Mimicking the natural look of the colored portion of the eye is passé, but if you still insist on doing up your eyes then here’s a dazzling alternative.

Britta Kjerkegaard is a new designer on my radar and with this glam new Spring/Summer 2009 range, I'll be sure to be keeping tabs on the stylish Dane. Strapless floor length gowns dominate the collection with oversized detailing key. Check out the dramatic frills on the bodice as well as corsages at the knee - love it!

Katie "Jordan" Price is a hardcore equestrian. She wants people to know that she even plans to complete in the 2012 Olympics. In fact, she's so serious about her riding that she has designed a line of clothing for riders and their horses. Because nothing says serious equestrian like neon pink leg warmers for your stallion.

This one might be a bit unusual for us, as this is not the whole look here. This picture is only of the most magnificent Madonna. Just look at her, if only for the headshot. We can’t believe that this beauty recently celebrated her 50th birthday!

Anna Faris could have easily gone with a big hair and big boobs look for the premiere of her new movie, House Bunny. After all, that's pretty much how the movie is being marketed, and she's the star Bunny. However, she went another route, and we'd like to recognize how this can work for you.

Va, va voom. Where has the petite Eva Longoria hiding herself these days? We have not seen her for awhile, but she is making a stunning appearance. A sexy one. In silver. Gorgeous!

If there's one thing Vogue is good for, it's stirring up a controversy. This time Vogue India has gone and done it with a photo shoot featuring lower income Indian families using accessories by exclusive -- read expensive -- designer brands. To give you an idea of the contrasts, many of these families live off of $1.25 a day, while a simple Burberry umbrella costs $200.

If you've ever had a secret wish to be in some Barbara Cartland-esque bodice-ripper or big screen period aductation (hands up? Yeah, me too), then this is the dress for your wedding. The four piece gown is made up of a long strapless bodice with front busk opening and ribboned back, mermaid skirt and printed trained bustle with front drape and a 3/4 sleeve demi jacket *sigh*.

Too short? Too tight? Too - hello, look at what God (or the plastic surgeon, one never knows) gave me? We think that Christina Aguilera is a little not-so self confident in this short, tight and very revealing number. She looks like she is quietly trying to pull the dress down a bit, before she reveals a bit too much, ahem, below.

As we're drifting into Autumn, it's time to look at some fabulous dresses perfect for the colder weather. Long sleeved gowns as you can see here don't have to be frumpy. This one is a slim-fit lace column gown with a vee-neck and back and an empire-line beaded detailing. And the price? Expect to pay a reasonable £750-£1000.

It's big. It's bold. It's sparkly. It's everywhere. It's statement jewelry. That's what we're talkin' about! Giant gemstones are making a huge comeback this fall. They can be worn in the most obvious ways with evening wear. But tie on one of Balenciaga or Vera Wang's gorgeous sparklers with a tee shirt and jeans and you just upped your fashion ante tenfold.

When you utter impressive gilded words like “someone is worth his/her weight in gold,” you have to wonder how much that actually adds up to in hard cash. Well, now Kate Moss knows the value of her weight in gold, as British sculptor Marc Quinn is all set to unveil his latest creation of a $2.75 million (£ 1.5 million) solid gold statue of this supermodel.

These days, finding a designer wedding dress that you adore can often seem a huge strain on the bank balance. While most high end frocks cost well above the £1000 mark, it only takes a little bit if looking to turn up a stunning gown at a fraction of that price.

In deciding to don this fine bit of fabric for a red carpet event, we imagine Jodie Marsh thinking the following: "Okay, so if it covers nipples, it's considered a 'shirt', right? I mean, sure, this won't push my knockers up to my chin, but WOW! Just LOOK at how much of my front I can legally show! Man, is Jordan going to be jealous!"

Love her or hate her you have to admit that Ms Montag is normally well known for her groomed looks (any whiny boyfriend obviously). To see her looking so eighties and unkempt is quite a shock, so you do think she manged to pull off the 'I just go the gym like this' Flashdance flashback?
