Emmanuel Ungaro has something of a reputation in the fashion world. He's known for his use of romantic colours coupled with bright flashes, and it's surprising that his catwalk show doesn't reflect this. The models all have very subtle gentle makeup, and delightfully fresh looking hair. It's very pretty, but it's s a step away from what we normally expect.

One of our favorite celebrity shows, as cheesy as it may be, is “Dancing With the Stars“. We love to watch the “B” list stars try to reinvent their careers. The announcement was made on Monday naming the official stars that will be making their ballroom dancing debut on September 22nd.

It could be the weather being it's usual temperamental self that's upsetting me, but for some reason I have really chapped lips. The UK is finally going to get hold of Serge Lutens Cosmetics, but unsurprisingly they're going to be exclusive to Harvey Nichols from the 27th August. Maybe it's because the clientele there are the only ones who'd shell out £49 for a lipstick and £100 for a compact foundation (refills only £45!).

Jacob the Jeweler, who was sentenced to jail last month for money laundering, seems to have no problem heading back to court. His company, Jacob & Co. has sued musician Wyclef Jean for unpaid bills. Court papers filed in Manhattan indicate bought $765,100 worth of watches and jewelry between March 2002 and January 2006 and still owes $319,680 dollars.

I normally opt for volumizing mascaras with uber thick brushes and wide wands. This has none of those factors, but I must admit to being pleasantly surprised with the quality of the mascara. I tried Collection 2000's new Magi-Length mascara (available October) in Ultra Black . It will also be available in black shimmer as well.
